Wage & Salary
The 2004 Upstate South Carolina Wage & Salary Survey included data from 181 employer facilities in Cherokee, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Union counties. There are 124 manufacturers and 57 non-manufacturers in the study. Reported full-time employment of these facilities totals 59,418.
Participants were asked for average base earnings increase data for 2004, and the forecast for 2005 increases. The following information provides information of averages of all responses that reported increases and is demonstrated by payroll classification.
