Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium

Center Stage Theatre (Downtown Greenville)
Founded in 1983, by Douglas P. McCoy (1937-2005), Centre Stage is a year-round, 285-seat regional theater offering a wide range of entertainment within easy walking distance of historic Falls Park and the many shops and restaurants that line downtown Greenville’s Main Street corridor.

Greenville Little Theater

Spartanburg Little Theatre (includes Imagine That and The Spartanburg Youth Theatre)
After 50 years and countless productions on the stage at the Camp Croft Playhouse The Spartanburg Little Theatre moved to the new Chapman Cultural Center in September 2007. The new theatre there was named the David W. Reid Theatre – in honor of David Reid – the founding father of The Spartanburg Little Theatre. The administrative offices of The Spartanburg Little Theatre and The Spartanburg Youth Theatre were moved to the Chapman Center at the same time.

Greer Heritage Museum
If you want the real history of Greer, a visit to the Greer Heritage Museum is a must. The mission of the Greer Heritage Museum is collecting, preserving and exhibiting materials, records and artifacts that relate to the heritage and history of the Greer area. They are located on South Main St. in historic downtown Greer.

BMW Zentrum Museum and Visitor’s Center
Here the past, present and future of BMW comes together in one marvel of a building. See the cars, speed and innovation all for free at the only BMW museum in North America, which sits next to the only manufacturing plant in the United States.

Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery
Located on the campus of Bob Jones University, M&G has been open and accessible to the public since 1951. While the collection’s primary focus is European Old Master paintings, it also displays nearly 200 pieces of Gothic to nineteenth century furniture, approximately 100 works of sculpture, some 60 textiles, over 1,000 ancient artifacts, and approximately 130 architectural elements that range from stained glass windows to fireplace mantels. In 2008 Bob Jones M&G opened a second location at Heritage Green in Downtown Greenville. M&G at Heritage Green rotates special exhibits of works selected from M&G’s world-renown painting collection along with loans from private and public collection. Plus, the second floor features interactive, educational
displays for all ages that bring the art and times of the Old Masters to life.

Greenville County Museum of Art
The Greenville County Museum of Art offers its visitors a way to sample the very best in American art through traveling exhibitions and exhibitions drawn from its own collection. The Museum's respected Southern Collection is a survey of American Art from colonia tiems to the present, with an emphasis on examples with relationships to the southern United States. Since it's inception, the Museum has also collected contemporary art. The Contemporary Collection includes examples from every major movement in American Art, featuring artists such as Josef Albers, Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, Eric Fischl and Leon Golub.

Upcountry History Museum
The Upcountry History Museum now sits proudly on Heritage Green and promotes the history of the Upcountry’s 15 counties. The exterior of the building itself incorporates various architectural features representative of Upcountry history. The distinguishing feature of the building is the prominent clock tower that is reminiscent of Greenville’s Old City Hall, and at the foot of the tower sit original cobblestones preserved from downtown Greenville. Known as the “textile center of the South,” the Upcountry’s textile history is represented by the brick façade of the building and the barrel-vaulted roof which resembles Textile Hall.

Museum of Confederate History
The 16th South Carolina Volunteers Museum of Confederate History boasts a large and growing collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the War Between the States. The collection includes firearms, photographs, flags, edged weapons, currency, clothing, letters, newspapers, and other items from military and home life.

Events
Greer
Events are held during a variety of times during the year. The Greater Greer Chamber has played a lead role in the development of new events in the community. They have partnered with a variety of different agencies and support groups such as the City of Greer, The Greer Cultural Arts Council, the Greer Family Festival Board, and many others to make successful event occur in the Greer community on a regular basis.

Greenville
Greenville hosts weekly and recurring outdoor events and concerts. Music, movies, market stalls and more are open to the public, and all events are free. The City hosts more than 100 events annually and strives to provide diversity of events and entertainment choices, ranging from kayaking to a summer concert series.
