Greer is a thriving city centrally located along the I-85 Corridor between Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina. The community is within a three hour drive of the major southeastern markets of Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina and the capital city of Columbia. In 2003, the population within a five mile radius of Greer's historic downtown area was estimated to be over 87,100 residents and by 2008 is projected to be over 94,700.
